Safety First

The Coon Rapids Fastpitch Association promotes a safe and healthy environment for our players.  We require that each volunteer coach participating in the CRFA program complete the following:

• Code of Conduct /COACH pledge form
• Concussion Training: Initial training must be completed prior to working any event this year and training will need to be renewed every three years
• Background check & Safe Sport

Code of Conduct pledge form and your concussion training certificate will need to be in your Coaches Books upon completion. These things will need to be completed prior to working with any player.

Also please note that it is a REQUIREMENT for ALL pitchers in practice or game situations to wear a fielding mask while pitching to a batter.  It is strongly recommended that 1st and 3rd wear fielding masks as well.
